Jackie Kendall

Jackie, organizer and trainer, was Executive Director of the Midwest Academy for 30 years and has provided training and consulting to FWW/FWA since its inception. In addition to training staff and volunteers she, along with Steve Max, developed the Strategic Organizing Trainer Training Program to create a core group of internal trainers at FWW. 

Along with Kim Bobo and Steve Max she is co-author of Organizing for Socical Change: Midwest Academy Manual for Activists. 

Prior to directing the Midwest Academy, she worked to get freshness dates on food and was on the founding organizing staff of Illinois Public Action Council (now Citizen Action-IL) – currently Secretary/Treasurer of the Citizen Action-IL Education Fund board.
