Loretta Rivers

Loretta Rivers is a member of the Piscataway Township Board of Education, an experienced non-profit director at Habitat for Humanity, a mother of three, and a leader in the Black community. She has testified before the State Senate on homelessness and housing insecurity, and currently serves as 2nd Vice President on the Executive Board of the Omega Mu Zeta Chapter of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.

As a legislator, Loretta is committed to an immediate moratorium on all new fossil fuel infrastructure. She will fight to halt dirty fossil fuel projects so New Jersey can focus on accelerating the transition to renewable energy sources, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and protecting public health.
