Justin Pearson

This Tennessee State Representative became nationally recognized when he was impeached for organizing gun control legislation in the wake of yet another mass shooting, and has been in the spotlight for protesting Tennessee’s newly gerrymandered congressional map. But before he became a legislator, Pearson was an environmental organizer who defeated a proposed crude oil pipeline. Pearson’s hometown of Memphis is also being impacted by an Elon Musk data center, and he is advocating for a national moratorium on the data center buildout.
