Lindsay James

State Representative Lindsay James has long been an ally of ours in the State House, supporting legislation to ban the use of eminent domain for hazardous carbon pipeline projects. James is running against former State Rep. Joe Mitchell, who is running on cutting clean water regulations and building more dirty energy infrastructure. Most recently, Mitchell worked for Trump’s Federal Housing Finance Agency, where he oversaw an enormous reduction in the staff who help Americans buy their homes. As a member of Congress, Lindsay would support restoring Iowans’ right to sue the pesticide corporations that are giving us cancer.
