Los Angeles — Today, Food & Water Action announced its endorsement of Chelsea Byers for West Hollywood City Council.

The group – a national leader in climate, food, water, and democracy advocacy – is backing Chelsea Byers, who has been a strong advocate for issues related to climate change on the West Hollywood City Council and has expressed support for holding polluters accountable.

With the endorsement, Andrea Vega, Senior Organizer at Food & Water Action issued the following statement:

“We are proud to endorse Chelsea Byers once again. Between her work on the West Hollywood City Council pushing for polluters to be held accountable and for the city to invest in truly clean, sustainable energy, Byers is the right choice for West Hollywood. Byers has always made affordability a core tenet of her time on the West Hollywood City Council and we’re thrilled to see that continue.”
