Los Angeles — Today, Food & Water Action announced its endorsement of Estuardo Mazariegos for LA City Council District 9 ahead of the June 2nd primary election.  

The group – a national leader in climate, food, water, and democracy advocacy – is backing Estuardo Mazariegos, who has worked tirelessly on housing justice and is a strong advocate for climate justice and a truly clean economy.

With the endorsement, Los Angeles Organizing Manager at Food & Water Action Andrea Vega issued the following statement: 

“Los Angeles needs champions on the city council that will prioritize climate justice and a truly clean, sustainable economy and Estuardo is that champion. We are thrilled to offer this endorsement to Estuardo given his proven track record and his commitment to getting our city to meet its 100% clean energy goals.”
