Today, Food & Water Action announced its endorsement of Fatima Iqbal-Zubair for California Assembly District 65 ahead of the June 2nd primary. 

The group – a national leader in climate, food, water, and democracy advocacy – is backing Fatima who has been a long-time climate advocate and strong supporter of the Make Polluters Pay Legislation. 

With the endorsement, Los Angeles Organizing Manager at Food & Water Action Andrea Vega issued the following statement: 

“We are proud to see a true climate champion in this race. Fatima not just talks the talk but actually has a track record of being able to get it done through her advocacy work. That’s the kind of energy we need in the Assembly to hold polluters accountable for the impacts they have had on our state.”
